Appointment of Supreme Master

FRATERNAL GREETINGS!
Friday, October 22, 2010
Worth Sir Knights of Texas Second District,
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Sir Knight Dennis J. Stoddard, PSD as our new Supreme Master.

Brother Dennis Stoddard is a New Jersey native, but has resided in Jacksonville, Florida since 1964. He retired after a 27 year career with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and has retired again this year as an elementary Catholic school teacher. He is a Viet Nam Veteran, serving in the Marines from 1965 – 1969.
He joined Jacksonville, Florida’s Bishop W. Thomas Larkin Council 4727 in October 1977. He served in all chair offices and became Grand Knight in 1982. He was charter Faithful Navigator of Father Timothy Vakoc Assembly 3213. Brother Dennis was elected State Warden for the Florida State Council and served following that as State Advocate, State Treasurer, State Program Director and then was elected to the office of State Deputy in 1999. At the 2002 Supreme Convention in Anaheim, Sir Knight Stoddard was elected a member of the Supreme Council Board of Directors and currently serves as Chairman of the Order’s Membership, New Council Development and round Table Committee

Sir Knight Stoddard is a Knight in the Pontifical Order of Pop St Sylvester and a Knight in the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem. He is married to Lady Linda Stoddard and they have two children and four grandchildren.
Sir Knight Dennis J. Stoddard succeeds Sir Knight Larry Costanzo who has served the Fourth Degree with distinction and honor. One of his top priorities as our new Supreme Master is to aggressively recruit young, vibrant, Catholic patriots, who can stand proud in defense of Church and state today just as our brothers did 110 years ago at the first exemplification of the Fourth Degree.

I encourage all current Navigators to send him a letter/card of ‘congratulations’ and ‘welcome’ him aboard and advise him that Texas Second District looks forward to working and supporting his growth in membership. It may be addressed to Sir Knight Dennis J. Stoddard, Supreme Master, 1 Columbus Plaza,
New Haven, CT 06510

Be Blessed.
ViVat Jesus! Fraternally,

GREGORY L. TATUM
